Let it be on earth as it is in Heaven
The leaves are changing colors here in Kansas City... beautiful oranges and reds... as they fall I'm reminded of the creativity and beauty of our God. I'm reminded of life being filled with much beauty and romance and change; truly creation does testify of God. His fingerprints are everywhere.
I feel in my heart I'm entering into a new season with the Lord as well. It's been some months now since I left corporate america, and I have not lost one night's sleep over it! I continue to fix my eyes on Jesus as I run this race with endurance for the hope set before me--- eternity with the lover of my soul, my bridegroom king.
I recently went to a conference to hear Heidi Baker. Her ministry is being blessed by the Lord in ways I am so encouraged to hear about, I encourage you as well to go to her website and read the stories of miracle after miracle taking place in Africa where she serves the poor. I was challenged in my heart to seek God yet again on my life's calling, so I may boldly walk into my destiny. I believe He does speak to us about our destiny, so I am asking Him for dreams, visions, prophetic directions from Him.
I desire to see the Hand of God move over the sick, the disabled bodies in america. I want to see healing from Jesus. This is really on my heart lately more than anything. I read the gospel and it clearly talks about Jesus healing, reaching out to the sick and with compassion healing their brokenness. Heidi Baker talked about why in America we don't see the miracles that she sees in Africa, and she said frankly we have too many other options here. God isn't our only option. In Africa, she said if He doesn't demonstrate miracles, she could die... the people she witnesses to are ready to kill, but God is faithful each time to demonstrate His power... so it just makes me wonder how I am to position myself in order to recieve healing hands. I know it is all about Jesus, so I keep my eyes on Him and seek and knock, and seek and knock.. contending without reservation for His promises to come to pass on earth as it is in heaven
