Divine Appointments

I do believe in God's hand orchestrating all things. That He desires to work out all things for the good of His children. He sets us in certain places and certain times. I don't believe in coincidences, but God incidences. One of those happened today. I finished up work in the office and pulled my car around front of the missions' base to go to into the prayer room for a couple hours. I pull into an empty spot, notice the car in front of me has a Texas lisence plate ;) and that it is my friend Melissa! And she is just getting out of her car! God timing I tell ya! She has recently blessed me in many ways, and I was happy to be able to thank her in person. We just talked about what God is up to in my life, what He has been stirring my heart for recently, well, not that recently it's been a long time coming. But I am finally feeling the release to step out.
so I ran into Melissa in the parking lot of Ihop. As i was puling into a parking spot, her car was in front of mine, she also had just arrived. the timing, oh yes, that is God. We talk about what the Lord is doing and putting in my heart for art and missions and children, and she encourages me so much, and even says she will monthly support me. Which is so amazing. She wants to support me to be an artist before the Lord! She wants me to be doing what I love and feel called to. To me that is a miracle, I never thought someone else would believe in me so much and love me so much to give to me to see me live out my dreams. Its a very special feeling, and a very divine thing, only God can do this, Only God can put this one someones' heart, and I am amazed as He is doing it in my own life. I am loved beyond my understanding by the God of the universe! Already God is showing His faithfullness in me going forward with this choice.
then we pray that God would continue to bring confirmation and show His love.
Immediatelly after that prayer, a friend I have't seen for along time walks right by us and stops and chats for a while and mentions how another friend saw my art here. She asks about if I have anything in the bookstore, and I say no, but I will. That was an immediate answer to prayer. Thank you Jesus.
I hear the sound of the children waiting in line from the CEC summer camp outside, laughing and joyful, the sky is bright blue, there is a sweet breeze blowing through the air, I'm feeling just this kiss from God as I'm standing there talking with Melissa. It was holy. (just as I wrote that in the prayer room, the singer says, "this is why the seripham cry "HOLY")
then we decide to sit and talk out side for an hour. Awesome conversation of what the Lord is doing and speaking in both of our lives. I love those times where the Holy Spirit seems to be just speaking to each of us through one another, it's such a gift of being a believer and sharing in sweet fellowship. I'm so thankful.
What appears but a bird, not just any kind of bird, but... a sparrow. Yes, a sparrow. The very bird my company is being named after. Praise Jesus! He is speaking, He is confirming. Thank you God. You are faithful and true. I will trust in you.
